On the way home from school today Mattias told me, “mommy, I so ty-red, I need a nap.” And that was the understatement of his short 2 years on this planet.

I was hoping the juice would keep him up for a while.
We had a busy weekend and it’s almost Thursday… where does time go? We spent Sunday with Fredrik’s dad (Leif), Inger and Lann and were joined by his uncle Håkan, Linnea and Minnie at Ingarö.
And then when we got home Mattias was able to open the first of his birthday presents (seeing as we’re not sure we’ll get to talk to Grandma and Grandpa on the actual day).

The video is so So SO cute! I love it!! And the picture with Grandma and Grandpa via skype is adorable. Mattias looks so big opening his presents – I was looking at some pictures from last year and boy has he grown!

Karl & Andrea on their way to Atlanta for a short vacation. Duane has started the school year–yesterday was the first day with students. Jessica starts working next week. Kim still in Mass.
