We had an amazing Thanksgiving. I got up early to make a sweet potato pie and my mom made a cranberry apple and pumpkin pecan pie. They were all delicious. We had turkey, stuffing (from Cathy and Dan.. yum!), sweet potatoes with maple syrup and cranberries (from Pete and Marne) and assorted salads and other side dishes. I planned to take a picture of the feast but I forgot… yikes! After dinner we watched the Grinch and White Christmas. I only have a few pictures from Thanksgiving – one of the pies, a picture of Reed holding Mattias with the Grinch in the background and a picture of Nick and Philip after dinner.
Now that we’re back from Redmond we just need to do laundry and prepare for our trip to Texas on Friday. Here’s Mattias on Thanksgiving holding his keys and sucking his thumb – a current favorite.

Ser gott ut. Synd att vi inte var med. Bilderna är jättefina, som vanligt. Just nu har jag Mattias med tummen i mun på mitt skrivbord på datorn. Alla här tycker att han är fantastiskt fin. Hoppas ni får det bra i Texas. När kommer ni tillbaka till Vancouver?

Mattias seems to be a very happy baby …content in every situation possible thats has to be thanks to the 2 of you been such cool parents:-)
I think I’ve checked out all the things i’ve missed out on now .. gonna show the kids allt eh pretty pictures and super sweet videos ..
