We have had a busy weekend. Thursday we flew from Stockholm to Gothenburg. Fredrik and Erik were in town to watch Spain v England in the Under 21 Soccer Championship. I’m not sure how it finished since Mattias and I didn’t have tickets, but we managed to have fun watching the trolley cars and trains.
The next day (picture far right) we took the train to Helsingborg- for yet another soccer game. This time all 4 of us had the pleasure?!? of watching Sweden lose to Italy. I don’t know much about soccer (as anyone at the game will attest to) BUT even I recognized that Italy sure loves to writhe around on the grass. As soon as the winds picked up they would just topple over for what seemed like an eternity. Sweden picked up an obscene amount of yellow cards but nothing seemed to get the crowd going like the red card awarded to Italy. Karma. Finally. Too bad we lost in the end. Apparently there are no points for playing better… you have to get ball in the net – or something silly like that. The rest of the world takes this stuff seriously so I’ll stop writing before I offend someone.
The next stop was traditional Midsommar festivities in Helsingborg. (pics middle and right)
End result? Two very tired Lindahls.

On Saturday morning we took the train to Malmö. Below far left is Fredrik and Mattias in front of Turning Torso on the waterfront in Malmö. We even found a park for Mattias to play at and then we ate (Mattias devoured) ice-cream. Mmm
Now we’re home and I’m going to try to post some videos
