Well, we honestly thought that the little one would come on the 4th but he hung in there until 00.25 on the morning of September 5 — sorry John, the Requarths won the poll! The contractions started around 3pm and came on fast. By 6pm Sarah was already 8cm dilated and soon ready to push. Somehow the message didn’t quite make it to the little guy because around 9pm he seemed to have second thoughts and the contractions nearly stopped. With a little help from oxytocin they picked back up and shortly thereafter we welcomed MATTIAS to the LINDAHL family. He weighed in at 3220 grams or 7lbs 1 oz.
